I appreciate that you have labelled the map of your library so it is very easy to see where you would be making changes. As someone who has spent some time in this library I am confident that all of your plans are attainable for the space. These are some great ideas!
What I like about the project: I like the display of students work. I highlighted that as well, but you also consider that it would be an inspiration to younger students that look forward to certain projects.
ReplyDeleteMy concerns and/or questions for consideration: When I worked in a secondary school, things like the 3d printer and maker space were in a different lab. Do you think they would fit in your library? Is it a space issue or do you think their place is in your learning commons?
My ideas about potential resources: Just a quick Google got me this Hand2Mind company (https://www.hand2mind.com/supplemental-curriculum/stem/makerspace-carts). I am sure it is over-priced, but some good brainstorming for those makerspace carts.
